Thanks for visiting my little corner of the internet! Here are a few little facts about me which will hopefully give an insight into my life and my social media content. If you have any burning questions on topics that aren’t covered here, feel free to drop me a DM on Instagram or Twitter @evidentlyevy.
I’m a thirty-something millennial based in Glasgow, Scotland. In true millennial fashion, I live at home with my Dad whilst I save up to buy my own little home. I’m a full-time university student, due to graduate in July 2019 with an Honours degree in Broadcast Production – and the day can’t come quickly enough. I also work part-time as a financial analyst to pay the bills – and yes, it’s a completely different career path to my degree. People tell me that as though I didn’t know already!
I have type 1 diabetes, and have lived with the condition since I was 9 years old. Ironically, I have a really sweet tooth – but I’ve learned how to balance the two! It’s so important that we talk openly about all chronic illnesses and disabilities, and as part of that I document my diabetes journey online.
I’m really into makeup and other beauty products – so as you can imagine, there are plenty of hauls and reviews lurking around! If my makeup goes well on a particular day, there will probably be a selfie (or six) on my Instagram. I’m trying to post on Instagram every day in 2019 – although hopefully it won’t just be photos of my face. I have a life, honest!
I love spending time with my family and friends, whether it’s going out for a bit of lunch or a few (too many) drinks after work. I love my food – you can never have too many carbs!
I also have a YouTube channel, which I’m hoping to upload to more frequently in 2019. My degree has heavily impacted my free time for blogging and making videos, so I should be back on the bandwagon properly as of this coming summer! Until then, things might be a little sporadic…
