My MAC Lipstick Collection

My MAC Lipstick Collection

I adore MAC lipsticks. In fact, it’s not just their lipstick that I adore – I’m a huge fan of all things MAC. I’ve got a separate MAC haul that you can check out if you wish! I’ve always got at least one MAC lipstick in my handbag; I find them moisturising, without being too greasy. I thought I’d show you the ones I’ve picked up so far – and it’s quite obvious from the photos which ones are my favourites!

My MAC Lipstick Collection

I picked up Impassioned ages ago after seeing Cherry Wallis rave about it in a video. Cherry is quite pale like me, so I figured if it suits her skin tone, then it would be fine for me! It is hella bright, so it’s not one I reach for constantly, but when I’m feeling brave I love rocking a bright pink lip.

Giddy is one of my most recent MAC purchases (although I can’t find it on the MAC website to link it!) I tend to wear a more natural lip, although I’m more likely to go for earthy nudes (as you’ll see later!) I fancied changing it up a bit and trying a softer, pink nude – and I love it. It’s a good alternative to berry lips in the winter – although I do love those too!

See Sheer was the first MAC lipstick I ever bought. It’s light enough for everyday wear, whilst at the same day being a little darker than Giddy for a bit more of an impact. We can credit this one with me going back for more!

Brick-O-La is another slightly brighter one that I break out when I’m going for a more definitive look. It’s a reddish colour with more earthy, brown undertones – which I absolutely adore. It’s gonna be used a hell of a lot during winter!

You can tell these two are well loved! I bought Persistence after watching a Helen Anderson video agessss ago. I had never ever considered wearing a brown-nude shade – for some reason I thought it would look weird on me! But considering I tend to wear nude colours on my eyes, it matches so well.

The next step was going a bit darker! Another one I saw on YouTube – this time, it was Tanya Burr and a 90s style tutorial. Whirl is by far my most used MAC lipstick; I’m obsessed with it. It’s always in my bag; I just love the shade, especially in the autumn/winter months.

Onto the last one, and perhaps the most daring of them all! I was on a quest for find the ultimate shade for winter – and I decided to give Rebel a try. It’s one of the shades that I use least out of the ones I own so far – it’s definitely one for the brave days, although it’s not quite as dark on the lips as it is in the photo!

What’s your favourite shade of MAC lipstick? I’m always looking to expand my collection!
